If ever that was a reason to cancel your plans and settle in for a night of great TV it’s this. A star is about to be born as our own Abbie Coulter makes her on-screen debut in tonight’s episode of Fair City.

Aspiring actress Abbie will star alongside Sorcha Furlong, Victor Burke and Enda Oates on the streets of Carrigstown outside SPAR for a very special reason.

Abbie and her mum are hoping that her appearance on the soap will encourage fans to donate to the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. The organisation goes above and beyond to bring joy to children living with serious and life-limiting illnesses, something Abbie knows only too well.
