dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire.New figures – covering the last 24 hours – have been published this afternoon as part of a daily update by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland.Two new deaths were recorded overnight meaning Scotland's death toll from the virus is now 7,690.There are currently 128 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals – down 12 from yesterday.A total of 12 people are receiving treatment for the disease in intensive care.In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Dundee City has the highest rate in the country — at 316.8 as of Thursday, June 17.South Ayrshire has the second-highest infection rate at 232.7 while City of Edinburgh is third with 210.3.
