Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Tipping Point contestant's prize surprises viewers of popular ITV game show

Tipping Point fans were amazed as one of contestant walked away empty handed from two rounds of the ITV game show.On Thursday's epside (May 26), Julia was one of three players competing for a potential £10,000 cash prize but got off to a difficult start once host Ben Shephard started asking questions.Some good guesses saw her recover to earn two counters but both failed to produce a prize from drop zone three.A strong second round showing earned Julia four tokens but, in an unlikely turn of events, none knocked a counter off to earn her some cash.That saw her leave the show penniless, with many viewers expressing their disbelief on Twitter.One comment said: "no chance!... #tippingpoint".Alongside a sad face emoji, another tweet said: "Gutted for her #tippingpoint".

A third comment added: "Has this happened before lol no money? #tippingpoint."Karen was the day's top contestant as she made it to the final, although she missed out on a chance at the top prize.She decided to play it safe and take home the cash she had managed to accumulate through the show, rather than gambling for the £10,000 which was on offer.It comes after a Tipping Point finalist lost out on a £10,000 jackpot in what host Ben described as the "toughest show ever".Wednesday's edition of the ITV game show saw player Yvonne triumphed over her two competitorsReluctant to take a chance on the "not kind" machine, Yvonne eventually collected £3,450 and chose to go home with her money.
