A planning application has now been lodged with Stockport Council to open a new branch of the fast food business. If approved, it would see the company taking over a vacant unit at the Peel Centre where it can serve its signature menu of coffees, doughnuts, burgers and breakfast sandwiches.
Tim Hortons was founded in Hamilton in Canada in 1964 and is particularly popular for its Timbits, bite-size doughnuts served in a variety of flavours.
