'Thuggish' football fans banned from attending matches after huge brawl

Lewis Proudfoot, 28, Kieran Briscoe, 36, James Malik, 22, and Callum Naylor, 20, were part of a group of thugs who fought with Shrewsbury Town fans ahead of a fixture between the two teams.

During the scrap in Bolton town centre, which involved up to 50 people, a man was repeatedly kicked in the head while punches were exchanged between both groups of fans.
