Glasgow in a 'distressing incident'. Around 9.25am on Monday, a 23-year-old woman was approached by a man at the bus stop on Easterhouse Road, near to its junction with Aberdalgie Road.He asked to use the woman's phone and then tried to steal the mobile as well as her handbag before fleeing towards the footpath on Denmilne Street.The man is described as white, aged around 40, 5 ft 5 ins tall and of slim build with dark blonde short hair and facial hair.
He spoke with an Ayrshire accent and was wearing black trousers, a black hooded jumper and black trainers. Luckily the woman was not injured during the incident.Detective Constable Poppy Stewart, of Glasgow's Robbery Unit, said: "The victim is heavily pregnant and was thankfully not injured.
