Minshull Street court heard how Tommi-Lee Kennedy, of Church Road, Urmston exercised 'psychological control' on his former partner, then 17-years-old.
Prosecuting, Thomas Worsfold, told the court how the teenager was a 'vulnerable young woman' living in accommodation designed to help her with independent living.
