Elliott also reportedly questioned a New Zealand filmmaker's ability to create a film about the American west.  On Sunday, Elliott addressed his recent comments that sparked backlash.

A 23-year-old man is in a critical condition and fighting for his life after being attacked outside Oxford Hotel in Sydney’s gay neighbourhood Oxford Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
