Romelu Lukaku looks set to get his wish to leave Chelsea with Thomas Tuchel now ready to sanction his exit.Lukaku, 29, wants to return to Inter Milan and is willing to take a pay cut to smooth through a move to the Serie A giants.
But with Inter unable to afford anything like the £97.5million the Blues paid for the Belgium striker, a loan deal is now being negotiated.Chelsea will demand a loan fee of at least £20m from the Italians before they agree to the transfer, but it is now clear parties want the move to happen.
That is because Tuchel has decided Lukaku doesn't fit into his long-term plans and moving him would benefit the team. Chelsea's new owners are keen to back their manager but are wary of allowing the 6ft 3in forward to leave on the cheap.
Talks will now continue between the two clubs with the expectation a compromise is worked out so all sides can move on.HAVE YOUR SAY!
