But ahead of Sunday’s clash with Burnley he admits he needs to win the trust of his players in his first Premier League job.Tuchel was sacked by PSG on Christmas Eve after falling out with the club’s hierarchy, leading to a miserable festive period in the German’s household.But he admitted his spirits were lifted dramatically when Chelsea offered him an 18-month contract to replace Frank Lampard this week.Speaking during his unveiling on Thursday, Tuchel said: “I had a pretty rubbish Christmas job-wise then four weeks later I find the best present still left under the tree!”Tuchel admits he is coming to England with no experience of the Premier.
