Meghan Markle’s estranged father has once again reiterated his appeal to see his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.Thomas Markle has frequently criticised his daughter publicly after he did not attend to her royal wedding ceremony in May 2018.The 77 year-old appeared on Dan Wootton’s show on GB News yesterday (April 25), where he announced his decision to visit the UK during the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, possibly bringing him into contact with Harry and Meghan.

Thomas took the opportunity in his response to emphasise the claims he had made in his YouTube podcast that Lilibet and Archie’s absence was an “insult” to the monarch. “Not bringing the children was like another slap in the face for the Queen, it was very rude and the wrong thing to do,” he suggested.“Not seeing these children makes no sense at all.

I don’t know whether it’s Meghan or whether it’s Harry, but the Queen should have every right to see her great-grandchildren, and I should have the right to see my grandchildren.”The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are yet to confirm whether they will make the trip to the UK for the Jubilee weekend, with Harry acknowledging in an interview with CBS that “security issues” needed to be resolved first. And, with Thomas announcing that he will be in London, he suggested that this might impact on the ex-royals’ decision.“I’m getting the feeling that if they know I’m coming, they won’t be coming.
