Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.
Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby was left wiping away the tears as she struggled to contain her emotions in a chat with Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway.The 40 year old star, who was co-hosting the ITV daytime programme with Phillip Schofield, 59, became upset as she listened to her friend talk about her journey with husband Derek Draper.

Kate, 54, is up for a National Television Award for her harrowing and heartbreaking documentary Finding Derek, which followed her as she struggled to keep the family together and support her husband after he contracted a serious case of Covid-19 in March 2020.
