This Artist Is Selling Portraits of Cher to Help Animals in Captivity

For much of her career, Cher has supported the rights of animals, going as far as co-founding her own non-profit organization Free the Wild, aimed at helping wild animals in captivity.

Now, the star is teaming up with artist Zoobs Ansari to help bring her cause to the forefront. On Wednesday (March 4), it was announced that Ansari will be selling a portfolio consisting of 11 original portraits of Cher to support Free the Wild.

The new multimedia portraits were inspired by the singer's sold out O2 Arena concerts in London, as part of her Here We Go Again Tour. “I co-founded Free The Wild with my friends Mark and Gina (Nelthorpe-Cowne) because of our common goal to help better the lives of animals in captivity," Cher said in a comment
