VIEWERS of The Walk-In spotted a blunder tonight as the gritty five part series came to an end. Based on true events, the final episode saw vile racists Christopher Lythgoe, Matthew Hankinson and Jack Renshaw standing trial.
Their guilty convictions were left hanging on informant Robbie Mullen's performance in court, after he revealed the National Action (NA) members' plot to kill an MP.
Reformed right-wing extremist and Hope Not Hate journalist Matthew Collins - played by Stephen Graham - was also seen giving evidence to confirm Robbie had indeed reached out to alert him to the plan to murder Labour MP Rosie Cooper and a female detective.
Viewer saw the jury find Lythgoe and Hankinson guilty of being members of the extremist group - which was banned after the murder of MP Jo Cox in 2016 - and Renshaw was jailed for life after he pleaded guilty to preparing acts of terrorism.
