Legend has sung on Jay-Z's "Encore", Alicia Keys's "You Don't Know My Name", Dilated Peoples' "This Way", Slum Village's "Selfish", Fort Minor's "High Road", and played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything". Legend's single "All of Me" from his fourth studio album Love in the Future (2013) was a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit.

Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author and television personality. She rose to fame in 2002, after winning the first season of American Idol, which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the country's best-selling single of 2002. It was followed by the release of her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), which debuted atop the US Billboard 200. Trying to reinvent her image, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and shifted to pop rock music for her second album, Breakaway (2004). After numerous top 40 radio number-one singles, such as "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You", the album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned Clarkson two Grammy Awards.

'The Voice' crowns season 21 champion

"The Voice" has another winner. On Tuesday night, the popular singing competition show crowned the victor of its 21st season, which saw celebrity coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande face off.

Grande was the only coach without a dog in the fight for the finale. Girl Named Tom from team Kelly Clarkson was crowned the champ of season 21 of "The Voice." (NBC) Ultimately, the band Girl Named Tom from Clarkson's team took the cake.They were the first-ever non-solo act to win the competition.

The band also performed the Jonas Brothers' "Leave Before You Love Me" with Clarkson earlier in the night. Also vying for the title was Hailey Mia, a fellow Clarkson teammate, team Legend's Jershika Maple and team Shelton's.
