THE Voice 2022 winner Anthonia Edwards has opened up about returning to her old job as she hit back at trolls who said the show was a fix.

The 25-year-old was crowned winner of the eleventh series of the ITV singing competition back in October. Anthonia, who worked as a nurse before The Voice 2022, has embraced every minute of her new career making music full time.

The singer is keen to give her singing everything she's got before returning to her old job. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Anthonia said: "Health care is a huge part of my life and I absolutely love it. "I love working with people, to find holistic solutions to their health issues. "Right now, I think given the opportunity that I have, I’ve got to focus on it." "But I think the door is always open."  Taking part in The Voice has changed Anthonia's life and has expressed how different it is. "I'm on my own clock as opposed to heading towards my patients.

I think it's now I have to tap into my creativity as an artist a bit more," she told us.
