coronavirus cases in Fallowfield have more than doubled in a week, the latest data shows. The suburb, which is home to thousands of students, remains the region's Covid hotspot as the virus continues to spread in the area.
The latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) data shows that 528 cases were recorded in Fallowfield in the week from September 28 to October 4.
This is more than double the week before - from September 23 to September 29 - when 259 cases were recorded in the area. An interactive map shows the number of positive Covid test results in each neighbourhood across the country.
