This is great news. Some high street boots are retailing for £250 (the increased cost of materials and shipping will show in prices), and given the cost of living crisis, it feels foolish to spend too much.
Check them out in store before you buy, especially if you hate doing returns as much as I do. Although the selection isn’t as wide in store, a glance will tell you that the cream cowboy boots aren’t quite the right shade, and the less said about the flatform brogues, the better.
So what is worth your money? First, you’ll want to identify the trends that will stick around – these include loafers, ballet pumps and chunky boots.
