We failed to impress at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, but it looks like next year will be bigger and better. And the search is already on to find the latest act that will hopefully bring Ireland to glory for the first time in 25 years.
This time around, the general public will have even more say on who will be singing on the international stage representing Ireland.
Ryan Tubridy announced during The Late Late Show that this time there will be a ‘musical democracy’. ‘We need a song, we need a winner… We will give [audiences at home] a chance to vote on the entry, it’s musical democracy,’ he announced to the viewers.
