The latest figures were announced this afternoon as new infections continue to surge across the country.515 people are currently in Scottish hospitals battling the virus, with 46 requiring intensive care.A total of 321,202 Scots have now caught coronavirus since the start of the pandemic with 7,772 deaths recorded.3,948,446 people have now had their first dose of the vaccine while 2,914,904 have had their second.
It comes as there has been a coronavirus outbreak in the Carrier Strike Group (CSG), which includes the Scots-built Royal Navy flagship HMS Queen Elizabeth.
