A kindhearted postman has raised £34,000 for a local food bank after swinging into action on the first day of lockdown last year.
Ste Kay delivered the mail in fancy dress, collected donations and ran a weekly football card to reach his stunning total. The 48-year-old father-of-two, of Devonshire Close, has been delivering letters and parcels in his hometown for two decades.
And as Boris Johnson ordered the country into lockdown in March 2020, the postie wasted no time in making things better for the community he loves.
