Queen already has "a big thing planned" for Prince William's 40th birthday, according to a royal expert.William is set to hit the birthday milestone on June 21 this year, which will come shortly after the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations earlier that month.
It will also be the second big 40th for the Cambridges in 2022, as Kate Middleton marked the same milestone on January 9 this year.
Now royal expert Christopher Andersen, author of The Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, has revealed that William's grandmother has something planned for his big day.
Speaking to US Weekly he claimed: "The Queen has a big thing planned for [William] and he is going to throw something as well." However, excitement for the double-header must be tempered, as Andersen continued: "There will be big parties again, if Covid allows anything like that to happen."It was reported that the Cambridges threw a 'low-key' party for Kate's 40th, organised by William and their three kids - Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.
