The Merseyway Workshop has now been open for three weeks, and provides a space for artists to exhibit and sell their work — as well as allowing residents to try their hand at work working or creating art from recycled plastic.

However, directors Camilla Reghenzi and Rachel Lewis hope the workshop will become a hive of activity and the go-to place for Stopfordians to get crafty. “We just want it to be a space that the people of Stockport can be proud of,” Rachel, 31, tells the Manchester Evening News . “We’re on the High Street, so many different kinds of people will walk by
