Manchester City Council, production relied on Manchester's iconic buildings and venues to double-up as locations in the capital.With that in mind, we've got the run down on just some of the Manchester locations to feature in the Channel 4 series - without spoiling any of the drama, of course.Locations used include Heaton Hall, the former Crossley House Youth Centre in Openshaw and Victoria Baths on Hathersage Road in Longsight.First opened in 1906, Victoria Baths quickly became known as the 'water palace' of Manchester and was a frequent spot for locals to swim and bathe.In 1986, one of the pools was converted into a sports hall in an attempt to increase wading visitors but high-running costs would lead to the building eventually closing in.
