Coronavirus infection rates across Greater Manchester have fallen in four boroughs. It comes as the number of cases per 100,000 people have been soaring across the region in recent weeks.

Wigan continues to have highest rate of infection in Greater Manchester. The borough recorded a rate of 708.9 cases per 100,000 people in the week wending July 21, according to the latest data from Public Health England.
