families from three households will be allowed to celebrate Christmas together across the UK. The households will be allowed to mix for up to five days.The plans were approved by leaders of all the UK nations at a Cobra meeting on Tuesday, led by Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove.The plans for Christmas will supersede the new tiering system, which will come into force in England on December 2.
