Channel 4 has axed The Circle after just three series. The hit show saw a group of people each living in their own apartments and communicating with each other through a special social media platform.Hosted by Emma Willis, contestants could either play the game honestly, using their real pictures and information, or they could create a character, or catfish, to portray.Netflix has reportedly begun talks with the makers of the show about the UK version and could be thinking of making an offer to host it exclusively, according to Broadcast.

But a fourth series of the Studio Lambert production will definitely no longer air on Channel 4. "C4 considers the youth-skewing, 10pm format to have been a success, but says it's keen to make room for new.
