Princess Diana led to a world in morning and an overwhelming amount of sympathy to her two young sons, Prince Harry and Prince William.
Diana died in a tragic car crash in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris, France, along with her boyfriend at the time, Dodi Fayed, on August 31 1997.Dodi and the driver, Henri Paul, who was the security manager of the Hotel Ritz died immediately, with Diana taken to hospital.The People's Princess was operated on but sadly passed away on the table, before her body was flown back to the UK and reunited with her family.
Princess Diana’s funeral took place on 6 September 1997 at Westminster Abbey and there was not a dry eye as Prince William, 15, and Harry, 12, slowly followed their mother’s coffin.
