The leading industry experts at Fry Magazine tested fish and chip shops across the UK with a tough set of criteria to narrow down their final shortlist, with the top 10 Scottish entries being named for 2021.Mystery diners visited each of the eateries unannounced and marked each chippy on over 40 aspects of their business, from the quality of the food and customer service to their social media presence and their Covid safe practices.Commenting on this year’s awards, Reece Head, competition organiser, said: “Without doubt, the last 12 months have been tough for fish and chip operators and many will not have dealt.
