Some passengers in Terminal 1 were evacuated after a fire alarm was set off. The M.E.N understands the incident affected passengers who were boarding at gates one to 10.

They said that somebody had 'set the fire alarm off'. Normal procedures were followed, the spokesperson added. Response teams have been stood down.
