The nominations have been revealed for the ninth annual Canadian Screen Awards, with the Canadian Academy honouring the best in Canadian film and television.
The 2020 ceremony will be presented as a seven-part, genre-based series of presentations to be streamed live on Academy.ca, in addition to the Canadian Academy’s Twitter and YouTube channel.
The presentations being on Monday, May 17 and will run through Thursday, May 20. Each presentation will be narrated by a notable Canadian and will focus heavily on the nominated works, with the ceremony culminating in a Canadian Screen Awards main event on May 20 that will feature a curated selection of prominent awards.
