judge has ruled.Jeremy Goodale and Willard Miller, who were both aged 16 at the time of the suspected attack, had appealed for their first-degree murder charge to be heard in a juvenile court. The pair, from Iowa in the United States, is accused of killing 66-year-old Fairfield High School teacher Noheme Graber in a brutal attack.Court records allege they hit their victim with a baseball bat and dumped her body in a park “under a wheelbarrow and railroad ties.”Criminal complaints confirmed Graber was found with trauma to the head, the Associated Press reported.District Judge Shawn Showers refused to allow the teenagers’ requests to be treated as if they weren’t adults. If he had accepted their appeal, they wouldn’t have been held for longer than six months after they turned 19.The judge said the crime was of “such magnitude” there was no hope of rehabilitation within that time.Cops investigating the grim killing first accused Goodale and Miller when a pal exposed online messages suggesting they “were involved in the planning, execution, and disposal of evidence,” a police search warrant showed.Goodale is accused of carrying out surveillance on the unsuspecting teacher.Court documents read: “The details included … the motive for killing Graber, the planning and execution of the means to kill Graber, as well as deliberate attempts to conceal the crime.”Stay up to date with all the Daily Star's latest news by signing up to one of our free newsletters here.Cops have still not made public any alleged motive for the bloody attack on Graber, who had reportedly been a teacher at the school since 2012.Local media outlets reported she had been a flight attendant before becoming a teacher and had originally intended to teach English.
