Eilidh Mackay spent two months in a coma after an adverse reaction to gruelling chemotherapy treatment which left her having to ‘relearn everything.’Medics had to perform emergency surgery on her gut when she was just 14 years old after going through the intense treatment.When Eilidh woke up she was only able to blink after spending around 60 days out cold.The spell in intensive care was just one of many galling challenges faced throughout the Maybole teen's years spent in hospital beds.Now 19, the ambassador for Worldwide Cancer Research based in Edinburghhas shared her courageous story to highlight that.
