Teenager fighting for life after crash involving 'six people in Vauxhall Corsa' near M62

A teenage boy is fighting for his life following a horror crash near the M62. Emergency services were called out to the A672 Oldham Road following a collision shortly before 1am today (February 4).

The crash involved a black Vauxhall Corsa which is believed to have been carrying six people. Police believe the car left the M62 at junction 22, near Saddleworth, before heading towards Rishworth, in West Yorkshire.

The car left the road between the M62 junction and Pike End Road, near Booth Wood Reservoir. Oldham Road has been closed throughout the morning.

A teenage boy was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in a serious condition this morning. West Yorkshire Police says five other teenagers, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, have all been arrested in connection with the incident.
