A teenager has been killed in a brutal stabbing attack when he was hit by a car before being assaulted with weapons, police said.
Josiah Norman, 17, was killed in Peveril Road, Salford, on Wednesday night, Greater Manchester Police confirmed. Officers rushed to reports of the incident at around 8.15pm and the teenager was taken to hospital with a stab wound to the chest, Manchester Evening News reports.
A murder investigation is now underway and a cordon remains in place on several streets in the area surrounding the site of the stabbing.
