Teenage Manchester United defender Teden Mengi can replicate Brandon Williams' rise to the first team, according to Under-23s boss Neil Wood.
Williams has enjoyed a breakthrough season with United, with the 19-year-old having established himself as a regular fixture at left-back in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side after beginning the campaign in the under-23 team.
Now centre-back Mengi, who has only just celebrated his 18th birthday, has been tipped to make a similar breakthrough. Mengi has been one of the academy's breakthrough stars of the 2019/20 season.
He has captained United's U18s to the FA Cup Youth Cup semi-finals, featured regularly for an older age group in the U23s and travelled with Solskjaer's senior squad on their Europa League
