Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A teenage dad shook his eight-month-old son so violently that he suffered a massive stroke and was left virtually brain dead, prosecutors claim.

Milo Hill reportedly has just days to live after his life support was switched off. His father Isiah Hill, 19, initially claimed he had tripped over his dog, causing him to fall on top of the toddler.

But medics in Oregon found the infant's injuries were inconsistent with the claim, and Hill now faces first-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment charges.
