Taylor Swift is set to be honoured at this week's BRIT Awards.The I Did Something Bad songstress will be awarded the prestigious Global Icon award for her record breaking career in music, according to The Sun.During the pandemic alone Taylor, 31, released two albums.First in July she dropped Folklore in July before surprise releasing Evermore in December.Earlier this year Folklore was named Album of the Year at a stripped back Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.Taylor made UK chart history in April after bagging her third number one album in a single year.The feat has surpassed a record of two previously held by The Beatles.Following the success of Folklore and Evermore, Taylor topped the UK charts with a re-recorded version of her album.
