Police came across the couple next to the M6, near Wigan, in the early hours of the morning. Despite having money to pay for the cab, they had been thrown out by the driver for 'no reason'.
After taking the couple home, officers reported the driver. The driver has now had their licence revoked in the interests of public safety.
