ENHYPEN named Prada’s newest brand ambassadors

ENHYPEN have been named Prada’s newest brand ambassador.The seven-member K-pop group’s appointment as the Italian luxury fashion house’s new ambassadors was first reported today (June 9) by Women’s Wear Daily and the K-pop Herald.“We’re delighted and honoured to be a part of this partnership as new brand ambassadors of Prada,” ENHYPEN said in a statement, per WWD. “The synergy Prada and ENHYPEN will create is something we’re very excited to witness and greatly looking forward to.”According to the K-pop Herald, ENHYPEN will start to “[participate] in different brand activities and global events as the rising stars of fashion” as part of their ambassadorship with Prada.ENHYPEN being named ambassadors for Prada comes shortly after the K-pop boyband were spotted at the luxury fashion brand’s Fall 2023 Menswear show during Milan Fashion Week in January, per Teen Vogue.ENHYPEN are the latest South Korean celebrities to sign with Dior as an ambassador for the brand.

ENHYPEN have announced their 2023 ‘Fate’ world tour, featuring shows in the US, Japan, South Korea and more.ENHYPEN are set to embark on a tour of Asia and the US this year, featuring 13 shows over three countries so far. The boyband’s ‘Fate’ world tour will kick off this July with a two-night concert in Seoul’s KSPO Dome.In September, ENHYPEN will play four shows in Japan.

ENHYPEN singer Sunoo will be pausing his scheduled activities due to health concerns, and consequently will not be appearing at KCON LA this weekend.On August 17, the singer’s label, Belift Lab, issued a statement announcing Sunoo’s condition, stating that he had made a visit to the doctor that same day after experiencing bouts of dizziness, headaches and chills. “Following the advice by the medical staff, Sunoo will take a rest and focus on recovery for the time being,” shared Belift Lab, as translated by Soompi. The label shared that while Sunoo himself “strongly wishes” to do so, he will be unable to perform with the rest of ENHYPEN at KCON LA 2022 – which takes place in Los Angeles from August 19-21 – as a result.

ENHYPEN singer Jay has tested positive for COVID-19, and will be halting his activities with the group for the time being.On July 21, music label Belift Lab published a statement to South Korean outlet Mydaily announcing that the Korean-American idol has been diagnosed with COVID-19 after positive results on both a rapid antigen test and a PCR test on the same day.“He is currently showing symptoms like mild sore throat and body aches and is being treated at home away from the other members,” Belift Lab’s statement read, as translated by Soompi.
