GFRIEND, aespa and NewJeans are among the artists set to perform at the 39th Golden Disc Awards in January.South Korea’s Golden Disc Awards has announced the complete line-up for its upcoming 39th ceremony, which will take place over January 4 and 5 at the Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan. The awards ceremony shared its line-up in two waves on December 3 and 9, comprising a total of 21 acts over the two days.Day one of the 39th Golden Disc Awards will include performances by popular K-pop girl groups like aespa, NewJeans and (G)I-DLE, along with singer-songwriters like BIBI and Crush.

K-pop boyband ENHYPEN have made a comeback with their second repackaged studio album and its lead single ‘No Doubt’.In the new visual, ENHYPEN star as regular office workers consumed by thoughts of their love interest. As they daydream, the temperature in the building gets hotter, causing them to grow more and more uncomfortable and destructive.“Ain’t no doubt you’re my answer / No worries, I’m alright / I want you, it’s so painful but / Oh, I’d burn myself to prove it, baby, no doubt,” they sing in the chorus of ‘No Doubt’.

The world tour will mark the third in the band’s career, with the previously, the 2023 to 2024 ‘Fate’ tour, having only concluded last month.The seven-piece will kick off their 2024 to 2025 ‘Walk The Line’ world tour with two shows in October at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in South Korea.

ENHYPEN have released a new music video for ‘Brought The Heat Back’, from their latest album, ‘Romance: Untold’.The music video for ‘Brought The Heat Back’ finds ENHYPEN back with a comedic take on their vampire concept, in contrast to their usual darker visuals, with a loose plotline about chasing a cat that has somehow transformed into a coffin.In their journey, the boyband get knocked down by cars, trapped in elevators, attacked by flying fish and more. “Yeah, I brought the heat back / Like scorching, hotter, hotter / Wild madness getting stronger, stronger,” they sing on the chorus.Prior to the release of the ‘Brought The Heat Back’ music video, NME‘s Tanu I.

ENHYPEN will be dropping a brand-new special album next month titled ‘Memorabilia’ for their original webcomic Dark Moon.ENHYPEN announced the new album on April 29 at midnight KST via the official social media channels for Dark Moon, the original webcomic and novel based on the ENHYPEN members. The K-pop boyband’s rendition of One Direction’s debut song is largely faithful to the original, albeit shorter, skipping the second verse and chorus entirely.“Baby, you light up my world like nobody else / The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed / But when you smile at the ground, it ain’t hard to tell / You don’t know, oh-oh, you don’t know you’re beautiful,” they sing on the chorus.

ENHYPEN has been arrested for allegedly misusing a boarding pass to entering the transit area of Singapore’s Changi Airport in order to meet the band.A 25-year-old woman was arrested on January 22 after she allegedly misused a boarding pass in order to gain access to the airport’s transit area in an attempt to meet K-pop ENHYPEN, per local news outlet The Straits Times. The group were departing from Changi Airport after performing in Singapore on January 20 and 21, as part of their ongoing world tour.Local police told The Straits Times that she was arrested in violation of Singapore’s Infrastructure Protection Act 2017, which bars people from entering protected places in the airport with no intention of leaving the country.
