Stars attending the EE BAFTA Awards on Sunday night have reportedly been encouraged to “dress respectfully” due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.The prestigious event is one of the biggest nights in the showbiz calendar, with stars gathering at London’s Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the best of the last year in film. Sunday evening’s ceremony is expected to see stars such as Lady Gaga, Benedict Cumberbatch, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Emma Watson grace the red carpet.

Lady Gaga continued her red carpet winning streak after she dressed to impress as she attended her very first BAFTA ceremony at the 2022 British Academy Film Awards. After wowing in a diamanté gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February, the 35 year old oozed elegance and sophistication as she stole the show in another flawless ensemble.The House Of Gucci actress sunned in a plunging dark forest green velvet dress that highlighted her amazing physique effortlessly.This being Gaga, the singer made sure to add extra drama to the ensemble with a giant train which followed her as she floated down the red carpet.

Prince William is believed to have declined to attend this weekend’s BAFTA awards, despite being president of the prestigious academy.The star-studded event is set to take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday 13 March. As a result of William, 39, not attending, the prince will record a message in advance to the awards’ attendees which will be shown on the night.

BAFTA for her role in new film CODA, has revealed that she was quick to figure it out.  Aled Jones, 51, appeared on our screens last Saturday dressed as a traffic cone, while Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams was revealed to be behind the character of Rockhopper.Aled’s daughter Emilia, 19, spoke about her dad’s time on the show during an interview with Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2 today. “If anyone doesn’t know, Emilia’s dad is Traffic Cone from The Masked Singer,” Zoe told her listeners.She then asked Emilia if she had any idea that her dad would be participating in the ITV talent show.“I didn’t!” Emilia confirmed.

TV fans were talking about singer Aled Jones on Saturday night, after the legendary star was revealed to be Traffic Cone on The Masked Singer. But the Welsh singer, who found fame 40 years ago, knows there’s an even bigger buzz right now around another member of his family – his 19 year old daughter Emilia Jones. Emilia just won herself a BAFTA nod for her performance in the 2021 film CODA and as Aled spoke to OK! after his Masked Singer exit, the Jones clam were eagerly waiting to see if the critically-acclaimed movie will make the Oscars shortlist.
