Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Susanna Reid has opened up about her near-death experience as she faced a knife attack when a young man mugged her.The Good Morning Britain host has decided to back a Premier League club's bid to reduce knife crime following her own life-threatening incident which she was lucky to escape.The Crystal Palace fan is a patron to the club's official charity, the Palace For Life Foundation.Speaking at an event at Selhurst Park, Susanna said: "I feel particularly affected and touched and moved to support the work that is being done to tackle knife crime."And my heart breaks for anybody who has been affected."I've got three teenage boys.
