Kate Middleton beamed with joy as she met British US Open tennis champion Emma Raducanu at a special reception on Friday, before joining the 18-year-old star on the tennis court.
The Duchess, 39, attend a homecoming celebration for Great Britain’s US Open Champions, hosted by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Youth programme, at the National Tennis Centre.
Kate was introduced to women's singles champ Emma Raducanu, men's doubles winner Joe Salisbury, and Alfie Hewitt and Gordon Reid, who won the mend's wheelchair doubles contest.
Kate – who is a keen tennis fan and has made regular appearances at Wimbledon since marrying Prince William in 2011 – happily chatted with Emma as they made their way to the court, before all five of the group.
