'Sudden death' in Scots street sparks police probe as scene locked down by officers

A police investigation has been launched after officers were called to reports of a sudden death in Glasgow. Emergency services raced to the scene in the Stirrat Street area of Maryhill at around 3.25pm on Friday, December 3.

Local residents reported seeing a large number of emergency service vehicles in the area where officers remain in attendance.Police Scotland have confirmed that a probe has been launched but said that it is currently at an “early stage”.
