Police are investigating after a Subway customer shot an employee dead for putting "too much mayonnaise on his sandwich". The shocking incident occurred in Atlanta, Georgia, US on Sunday (June 26) shortly after 6.30pm.
Police rushed to the scene to find a 26-year-old woman dead and a 24-year-old seriously injured. None of the three people involved have been formally identified by police.Willie Glenn, the owner of the Subway branch, told Fox 5 Atlanta: "Believe it or not, it was about too much mayonnaise on his sandwich."He decided to escalate the situation and from there - that's when all hell broke loose."Glenn added that the injured employee's five-year-old son was in the Subway at the time.
He also said the on duty manager fired back but was unable to hit the shooter."I don't know what the world is coming to especially with our youth.
