But she defied the odds to beat last year's Wimbledon finalist Karolina Pliskova and make it into the third round at the All England Club for the very first time in her career.Boulter defeated the sixth seed 3-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 on Centre Court and will now face Harmony Tan, Serena Williams' conqueror, in the next round.
