The couple were riding high at the top of the leaderboard after week three and earned solid praise from the judges and fans at home following last week's stunning performance.
Ranvir and Giovanni still managed to score an impressive 20 and were described as "fabulous" by stand in judge Anton Du Beke.
Being partnered with the 30-year-old dancer has also seen the award-winning journalist's confidence soar. The 43-year-old explained: "I write myself off quite a lot, but Strictly is reigniting a small modicum of pride in what my body can achieve, even though I take ill upon it.
