The Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite, 32, revealed in his Instagram Story today that he had been "kicked in the head" whilst rehearsing the Charleston with his professional partner Johannes Radebe, 34.

John shared news of his injury with his 189,000 Instagram followers ahead of tomorrow night’s Strictly live show.The baking professional posted a video where he can be seen lifting his cap to reveal a painful-looking bruise on the right hand side of his forehead.He captioned the video: “Got kicked in the head during rehearsals.“The Charleston is a very dangerous dance.”John and Johannes have so far not shied away from executing some complex moves on the dance floor, wowing the judges week after week with their stunning.
