Strictly star Dan Walker has revealed he has a secret weapon to beat his rivals – flapjacks. The BBC Breakfast presenter, 44, reckons munching on the snack is helping him and his partner Nadiya Bychkova stay on the show.

He told the Daily Star Sunday: “I thought I’d be gone in two weeks, but I’m still here. I’ve been having flapjacks before each show.“I’ve introduced Nadiya to them as well.

And it is helping.“Now I want to see how far I’ll go.”Dan has survived three eliminations, seeing off celebs including Greg Wise, 55.But the star is the first to admit he is not a natural when it comes to performing.He added: “I’m not a great dancer and I don’t think I ever will be.
